Adikailash Day2 - 19th June

It was an overnight bus journey from Delhi to Kathgodam and we reached hotel at around 7am.  Surprised to see the kind of welcome that we got with songs, garlands etc. 

We freshed up, had breakfast and then started from Kathgodam at 9am.  On the way to Almora which is our destination for today, we visited a temple, "Baba Neeb Karouri Maharaj".

Reached Almora at 1pm, had a good lunch and relaxed in the room.  In the evening, we had another meeting to introduce ourselves to the larger group of 33 people.

We went out for night photography at around 10pm and clicked few great snaps of Almora.

తెల్లవారి 7 గంటలకు Kathgodam చేరుకున్న మాకు అద్వితీయమైన స్వాగతం లభించింది.  పూలదండలు, శివ భజనలతో ఆహ్వానించారు. 

ఫలహారం తరువాత, 9 కి బస్సు ఎక్కేసాం.  Almora మధ్యాహ్నానికి చేరాం.  భోజనం  బాగుంది.  సాయంత్రం, మిగతా యాత్రికులతో కలిసి మాట్లాడుకున్నాం.  అప్పుడే తెలిసింది, మా బృందం, 33 మంది

Adikailash Day1 - 18th June

Om namah shivaya !!!

Another epic journey started to Adikailash on this 18th day of Jun 2017.  Experiencing the word "mixed feelings" since a lot of days.  I am all excited, tensed, worried - all at the same time.  It's been a long awaited day and reached Vizag airport early at 7am.   

We reached the hotel at Delhi by noon and took rest for sometime.  In the evening, we had a meeting with all 14 piligrims who were starting from Delhi.  Couple of great people who went to Adikailash many times in the past, have come and gave us some tips and tricks for the journey.

After dinner, at around 9:30pm, we started from Delhi to Kathgodam by bus.

కైలాస మానస సరోవరం వెళ్లి వచ్చిన ఇన్నాళ్ల తరువాత అంత గొప్ప యాత్ర ఇంకొకటి చెయ్యమని శివుని అనుజ్ఞ అయ్యింది.  అది ఆదికైలాసానికి దారి చూపింది.  ఆ ఆలోచన వచ్చిన రోజు నుంచే, ఎప్పుడెప్పుడు వెళ్తామా అనే ఎదురుచూపులు మొదలయిపోయాయి.   అవాంతరాలేమైనా వస్తాయేమో అని చిన్న భయం, అంతా ఆయనే చూసుకుంటాడులే అని కొండంత ధైర్యం.. ఇలా మనసు పరిపరి విధాలుగా ఆలోచిస్తూ ఉండగానే బయలుదేరాల్సిన శుభ ముహూర్తం వచ్చేసింది. జూన్ 18 న, కైలాసవాసుని ఆవాసానికి ప్రయాణం ప్రారంభం అయింది.

ఢిల్లీ చేరిన మాకు, హోటల్ కి వెళ్ళడానికి 2 గంటలు పట్టింది.  భోజనం అయ్యాకా మధ్యాహ్నం కాసేపు నడుం వాల్చి, సాయంత్రానికి మిగతా భక్తులను కలిసి మాట్లాడుకున్నాం,  యాత్ర ఎలా ఉండబోతోందో, తెలుసుకున్నాం.   రాత్రి 9:30 కి, ఢిల్లీ నుంచి బస్సులో Kathgodam కి బయలుదేరాం.
