We
were asked to start at 5:30 AM to Nepalganj airport. We waited in that bus-stand-like airport till
at 8AM and then got the 12-seater aeroplane to "Simikot".
From
here we waited for helicopter to go to "Hisla". My friends went at 11AM, but there was no
place for me. So, waiting continued for
next trip at 1PM with few more piligrims.
Pilot stopped the helicopter to have his lunch. After his lunch at 1:30, helicopter did not
start because of some engine problem. We
waited till 3PM and it couldn't be repaired.
So, there was no other way except to stay back in a hotel in this
village of 200-houses.
To our
surprise, this is an excellent hotel with very nice staff and a great
cook. Both dinner and tea were really
good.
