Another day welcomed us for 18km travel to a village called, Kuti. After having breakfast at Gunji, we started on horses to Kuti. It was mostly plain road and trek was smooth. However, because it was first time, I couldn't control myself and fall off from horse. Later, I was more careful and avoided more such scenes.
We reached Kuti at around 3pm. It is an awesome village surrounded (360°) by Himalyas. It was originally named after Kunti, later which got changed to Kuti. We saw Pandavas kutiras (almost demolished) while entering the village. Every mountain is like Siva Linga and there are lots of Ganesh forms that we can see in these Himalayas.
ఈ రోజు, 18km వెళ్ళాలి. Kuti అనే గ్రామం చేరుకొనే ఈ మార్గంలో, గుఱ్ఱం మీద నుంచి ఒకసారి పడ్డాను :-). ఇంకా జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండాలి అన్న విషయం అర్ధమైంది. 3pm కి Kuti చేరుకున్నాం. ఊరిలోకి, గుఱ్ఱాలను రానివ్వరు అని చెప్తే, సుమారుగా 1/2 km నడుచుకుంటూ ఊరిలోకి వెళ్లాం. చుట్టూ ఎటు చూసినా హిమాలయాలే, దగ్గరగా పర్వతాలు, దూరంగా మెరుస్తున్న మంచు... ఆ అందాన్ని చూసి తీరాల్సిందే...
కుంతీదేవి పుట్టింటివారి రాజ్యం, కాల క్రమేణా Kuti గా మారిపోయింది. పాండవుల కోసం నిర్మించబడిన రాతినిర్మాణాలు శిధిలావస్తలో ఉన్నాయి. ప్రతీ పర్వతం శివ లింగమే, ఎక్కడ చూసినా గణపతి రూపాలు, చాలా చోట్ల నంది ఆకారాలు - ఎంత అదృష్టవంతులో ఆ గ్రామ ప్రజ.
